TENDIDA (2011)
35mm film photography
Photographic essay that arises from the use of photography as a life log and as an exploration medium of the most common aspects of quotidian life and the private sphere. The photographic purpose of the project is to reflect the moment in which the categorical imperatives that regulate our life seem to lose prominence, establishing a sort of parenthesis of the contemporary frenzy and social obligations. It’s about the dead hours, the moments of nothing, the uneventful. Tendida is centered in the unnoticed space-time of human inactivity. Even though the project is conceived as a personal one, in the sense that it is based on the photographer’s personal life, it also intends to capture an eclectic and disenchant social group, immerse in indifference, fantasy and relaxation.
